Typical Integration Timelines

Our simple yet robust API allows most companies to complete integration within a week, with some partners reaching production in as little as 48 hours.

Fin.com API Collection

Fin.com offers a simple set of APIs to handle all your pay-in and payout needs. Our core capabilities include:
  • Onboarding: Quickly verify your individual and business customers.
  • Virtual Accounts: Create accounts for your customers to handle pay-ins (on-ramps).
  • Payouts: Set up beneficiaries and send money (off-ramps) across multiple global corridors.
  • Automation: Create and manage transactions programmatically.
Check out our API Reference to start exploring.

Testing Environments

Fin.com provides a sandbox environment for testing its API collection. Learn how to issue a sandbox API key.

Webhook Integration for Real-time Status Updates

Fin.com uses webhook events to communicate updates on customers, beneficiaries, transactions, and virtual account statuses. For more details, refer to our webhook collection.

Programmatic Transaction Initiation

Fin.com offers two settlement methods for payouts:
  1. Automatic settlement: Fin.com initiates the fiat payout automatically when crypto is received in the beneficiary’s liquidation address.
  2. Programmatic settlement: You trigger the transaction programmatically using either the Settle a transfer endpoint or the Execute Batch Transfer endpoint.

Programmatic settlement with prefunded balance

If you maintain prefunded balances with Fin.com, you must always trigger payouts programmatically using either the Settle a transfer endpoint or the Execute Batch Transfer endpoint, regardless of your beneficiaries’ auto-settlement configuration true or false.

Programmatic settlement without a prefunded balance

To initiate a programmatic transaction without prefunded balances, you must set the auto settlement configuration false for the beneficiary. If auto_settlement is set to false, Fin.com will hold the crypto in the liquidation address until you trigger the payout using either the Settle a transfer endpoint or the Execute Batch Transfer endpoint. Learn more about Funding & Balances.
Pre-funding is a must for all local currency payouts (e.g., BDT, INR, EUR).

Virtual IBAN Issuance

Fin.com currently issues EUR vIBANs for OTC users only. API access will be available in the second week of March 2026.

External KYC Integration and Data Portability

System Uptime and Service Level Agreements (SLA)

Fin.com maintains 24/7 uptime. Any scheduled downtime will be communicated in advance.

Transaction Success Rates and Reliability Metrics

Our infrastructure is built for mission-critical financial applications, maintaining the following performance standards:
  • Inbound Transfers (On-Ramp): We guarantee a 100% success rate for on-ramps. By utilizing dedicated virtual accounts, we eliminate the routing failures and attribution errors common in traditional pooled-account models.
  • Outbound Transfers (Off-Ramp): Fin.com maintains a 99%+ success rate for off-ramps. High-fidelity delivery is ensured provided that:
    • Beneficiary details pass initial schema validation.
    • Transactions clear standard AML/KYC compliance protocols.
  • Service Availability: We operate with a 99.9% Uptime SLA, ensuring your platform remains operational across all global time zones.

Refund and Reversal Management

Refunds and reversals apply to fiat payouts and off-ramps, depending on your prefunding setup. With prefunded balances: Fin.com credits refunds or reversals to your respective prefunding balance (SWIFT or Local). Without prefunded balances: Fin.com credits the exact crypto amount to the address specified in the beneficiary’s refund_instruction.
